This past Friday night at The Great Gatsby Gala, Mrs. Sarah Hurt, Science Teacher at Union High School, was awarded the district's Teacher of the Year recognition. Unfortunately, Mrs. Hurt was not able to attend as she was coaching a track event. But, Dr. Scott Hayes, Superintendent, called her once her name was announced to share the great news!
