Student Services

It is a goal of the District and the Special Services Department that the needs of all students be met through the provision of a free and appropriate education (FAPE)regardless of their abilities.

This office handles a variety of programs/services including the following: 

  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training

  • Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Evaluation / Instruction

  • English as a Second Language (ESL) Evaluation / Instruction

  • Homeless Coordination

  • Homebound Instruction Coordination

  • Domicile Billing

  • Parentally Placed Private School Services

  • Section 504

  • Special Education Evaluation / Instruction

  • Parents As Teachers

  • Gifted Evaluation / Instruction

  • Migrant Education Coordination

  • School Couseling Services (including coordination with outside agencies through the FCCRB)

  • Missouri Preschool Program

  • Medicaid / School District Administrative Claiming (SDAC) & Direct Services Billing
