SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS
Public Notice of Filing
The Union R-XI School District is encouraging all interested individuals to file as candidates for positions on the school board in the upcoming election on April 7, 2026. Qualified candidates may file at the superintendent’s office, located at 21 Progress Parkway, Union, MO 63084.

Filing Period
Filing will begin on December 9, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. and will continue during the district’s regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Filing will not occur on days when the district's central offices are closed due to inclement weather. Filing will also be suspended for the following holiday period: December 19, 2025, 2:00 p.m. through December 30, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
Filing will re-open on December 30, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Board Positions
There are three (3) positions available, each with a three-year term.
The names of qualified candidates will appear on the ballot in the order in which they file.
