We had the best day learning about different careers/hobbies! We learned about: training beagles/rabbit hunting 🐶 played legos 🧱 met a llama 🦙 had a puzzle race 🧩 visited with a flight attendant ✈️ Snuggles with goats 🐐 Heard about Police 👮🏼‍♀️ Officers Race car drivers 🏎️ Veterinarians 🐕🐈 And MORE!! Be sure to ask your student about the day! A HUGE shoutout to Mrs. LaBoube for putting this day together and a BIG THANK YOU to those who came and presented!

Today, Beaufort Elementary welcomed a very special guest principal—Ms. Hanneken! 🎉 Normally a 4th-grade student, she stepped into the big role and led with confidence and style. 🍩 From delivering morning donuts to staff, making announcements, tackling office work, and even replenishing recess equipment, Ms. Hanneken showed she’s got what it takes to lead! 🌟✨ This ‘Principal for the Day’ experience was part of the fun at our annual Spaghetti Supper silent auction. 🍝👏 A huge thank you to her family for supporting our school, and we’re so proud of Ms. Hanneken’s leadership skills. Could she be a future school administrator? We think so! 💼💛

We are all looking for those signs of Spring right now and one of our favorites is right around the corner. Thursday, March 27th, is Cardinals Opening Day! Students and Staff, let’s celebrate by wearing our Cardinals gear or Red on Thursday! ⚾️

Our Board members play a vital role in ensuring we have policies and practices in place for the betterment of both our students and staff. Why socks? 🧦 Some think chromosomes look like mismatched socks. We rocked our silly socks to spread awareness and acceptance of our friends with Down Syndrome. It shows that despite our differences, we can still learn, be friends, and play together! At Beaufort we love all Kids!!
