Mrs. Klenke is happily married to a UHS alum and shares four children with him. She has been in education for 15 years - serving 6 years as a high school social studies teacher, 6 years as a middle school social studies teacher and most recently, 3 years as the Union R-XI Secondary Curriculum Coordinator/Instructional Coach.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, and coaching her kids. She is " beyond excited to join UHS. Union High School is a big family, and I look forward to helping provide academic excellence and positive contributions to our community."

Mr. League joins us with 14 years in education with former experience teaching science, PLTW and Health. He has been married to his wife, Jackie for nine years and has two daughters, Willow & Penny. Outside of school, Matt enjoys spending time with his beautiful family, traveling and running his small business doing fiberglass and acrylic repairs.

Mr. Okenfuss has 22 years of teaching experience; he is joining UHS after 20 years at Owensville High School and will be teaching math. In addition to teaching, Ryan has 17 years of experience coaching football and has been a MSHSAA umpire for both baseball and softball for a combined 25 years. He enjoys spending time with his wife Amanda and sharing their love of athletics with their three children, Charlotte (7), Knox (5), and Slade (2). Ryan also has a son, Brayden, who will be entering his senior year at Hermann High School.

We are #UProud to welcome Mr. Bill Koch Team UHS (in a new role)! Mr. Koch enjoys spending time with his beautiful family and serving as a Freemason Leader and Kiwanis Member. In his free time, Bill loves intellectual challenges, golfing, hunting, fishing, hiking, traveling and conducting community service.

Mrs. Brinker is a UHS graduate and has been teaching middle school Language Arts for the past 11 years. Her husband, Mr. Ted Brinker, teaches at UHS and is thrilled for her to join the team. Their daughter, Mara, just turned two and is excited to grow up as a Wildcat, too! Mrs. Brinker is looking forward to supporting our teachers and working with our teams to positively impact the growth of our students.

Garett has lived in Union almost his entire life and is excited to be transitioning to a new role within the district. He has been married to his lovely wife for seven years, and we have they have the most amazing two-year-old daughter. His family loves to take walks, hikes, and little road trips.
Mr. Fitzgerald has been in education for four years, recently just finishing his second year as a teacher, and was a paraprofessional for two years before teaching. He is excited to be returning to UHS and eager to become a productive member of the team.

We are #UProud to welcome Mrs. Sarah Hurt to Team UHS (in a new role)!
Mrs. Hurt has been a member of the UHS Dream Team for the last 8 years teaching AP Biology, General Biology, Principles of Biomedical Science, Forensic Biology, and Disease and Medicine. Before UHS, she taught college biology labs at Washington State University while completing her Master's in Biology. Additionally, Sarah has been a Track & Field coach at Union for 7 years and continues to be the Cross Country coach.
Sarah's husband, Jordan, and daughter, Nora, love being a part of the UHS community! Nora happens to be Wilson the Wildcat's biggest fan. Their family loves to get outdoors for all the activities--especially when they get to go see animals!
Mrs. Hurt is really looking forward to stepping into a new role to help students figure out where they see themselves after high school and develop a plan that is right for them.
