Wildcats, we are just a few tickets away from meeting our goal to be able to provide additional resources and instruments to Union-RXI elementary students, and we know we can do it with your help! The annual Central Elementary Book Hunt is happening next Wednesday! More detailed information is coming home in folders. Set your alarms!

*Proposition KIDS gains approval* Today is a great day for our district and for our community! Our ballot measure, Proposition KIDS, passed with just shy of 64% of voters voting in favor versus 36% in opposition. Our community has been asking us to prioritize an Early Childhood Center and additional storm shelters. The overwhelming support of our bond issue is the perfect way of showing the community trusts the work we are doing and the positive impact our district is having on the community at large. This is a time to celebrate and a time to acknowledge our community for the continued partnership and vote of confidence. I can’t tell you how thankful and proud I am of our district. We have some of the absolute best working on our team and our parent/guardian partnership couldn’t be stronger; the future is bright for #unionrxi. There is a lot of work to be done now and there will be many conversations in the coming weeks/months as we take next steps in delivering on Proposition KIDS. The Buddy Bench is in!! The student council planned, put on fundraisers and met their goal! We can't wait to see kids using this bench!

Thanks for sprucing up Central team! Today Student Council is painting rocks to spruce up the rock garden around the flag!

K-8 summer school enrollment is now open! https://tinyurl.com/unionrxisummerschool Students earn $5 per day for each day they attend (max of $100)! The deadline to enroll is May 16 #Uproud
