And they're off! The MAP test started this morning for 3rd-5th grades so yesterday we had a kickoff assembly where "good habits" (our girls on the run team) competed in a race against "bad habits" (teachers). Of course the Good Habits prevailed! Good luck to all students this week!

Today is school bus driver appreciation day!
Thank you to all our amazing bus drivers who safely transport our students to and from school. You all help to ensure our students both start and end their day on a positive note; thank you!

Good morning, #unionrxi families:
Due to the hazardous weather outlook that has been issued by the National Weather Service which includes periods of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening with the potential for large hail, damaging wind gusts, and tornadoes, we are dismissing all #unionrxi schools early today, April 27, 2026.
All elementary schools will dismiss at 1:00 pm and our secondary schools will dismiss at 1:35 pm.
We understand the challenge presented to our families with an early dismissal, but an early dismissal will allow all our bus routes to be completed and all our student drivers can arrive home safely prior to any inclement weather. The timing of this weather event has moved up sooner and now looks to impact our region right during our regular dismissal and we want to do everything we can to ensure our buses, students, and staff can travel safely.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in keeping both our students and staff safe.
