🎵 Take Us Out to the Ballgame! ⚾️❤️ Our hearts are absolutely bursting with pride today! Last night, our amazing Union Elementary Choirs took the field at Busch Stadium to perform for the St. Louis Cardinals, and wow… just WOW! 🌟 Our students had some much fun under the big stadium lights. There’s truly nothing more precious than hearing those sweet young voices fill the air! 🎶✨ They practiced so hard, and it showed for every single note. A Huge Shoutout to Mrs. Baer and all the Music teachers ! Thank you for all the time you put into our young singers. 🐾 Way to go, Wildcats! You represented our school with so much talent and heart. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful school! 🐾♥️ Go Cards and GO WILDCATS!

✨Today was full of Appreciation! ✨ Our Tuesday started off on the sweetest note thanks to a very special breakfast delivered by our amazing Student Council students! 🐾 A huge shout-out to Hardee’s and the McDuffie’s for putting together such a yummy breakfast. 🥯🥓 To make things even better, Hank’s Coffee Truck swung by to treat us to some delicious drinks! ☕️🥤 It was the perfect pairing for our breakfast treat. As if that wasn’t enough, our PTO once again soared in and our teachers lounge was filled with snacks to fill our snack cravings throughout the day. These past two days have us feeling so spoiled and fueled up for the rest of the week! Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 6th is School Nurse Appreciation Day, and we are shouting it from the hallways: we have the absolute best! 🩺❤️ Today we celebrate Nurse Leisha at Beaufort Elementary! Whether it’s a mysterious belly ache that miraculously needs a snack or a playground boo-boo that requires a very specific superhero bandage, she handles it all with a smile. 🩹✨ She is the magic behind making our "ouchies" go away and keeping our students, families, and staff healthy and happy. Thank you, Nurse Leisha, for being the caring, compassionate, and dedicated heart of our clinic! Step right up! 🎪✨ A massive shout out to our incredible Beaufort PTO parents for kicking off Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week with a bang! They truly went above and beyond to transform our school into the "Greatest School on Earth" for the week! We started Monday with the Grand Opening Circus Kickoff and a delicious Big Top Breakfast that was nothing short of spectacular. Our PTO is the best—they always put on quite the show for us and remind us that "This Place Would Be a Circus Without You!" ☕️ HUGE THANK YOU to Scooter’s Coffee for supplying the much-needed caffeine refreshments for all our teachers this morning! 🎨 Art Show Recap: We Came, We Saw, We Showed our work off! 🖌️ The UHS Cafeteria was looking magical the other night! From glittery masterpieces to "is that a cat or a cloud?"—our K-12 artists absolutely crushed it at the annual show. 🎨✨ A huge shout-out to Mrs. Machelett, who is officially the BEST art teacher in existence. 🏆 We’re pretty sure she has magical powers because her love for art literally glowed in every project. 🚑 Ambulance Ride! 🚑 A few days ago our Union Ambulance District had the opportunity of driving Reese and Riley Henneken to school in style after they won an ambulance ride to school at this year’s Spaghetti Supper. Moments like these are what community is all about—connecting with the kids we serve and making a positive impact beyond emergencies. Congratulations Reese and Riley! 🚑

Good morning, #unionrxi families:

Due to the hazardous weather outlook that has been issued by the National Weather Service which includes periods of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening with the potential for large hail, damaging wind gusts, and tornadoes, we are dismissing all #unionrxi schools early today, April 27, 2026.

All elementary schools will dismiss at 1:00 pm and our secondary schools will dismiss at 1:35 pm.

We understand the challenge presented to our families with an early dismissal, but an early dismissal will allow all our bus routes to be completed and all our student drivers can arrive home safely prior to any inclement weather. The timing of this weather event has moved up sooner and now looks to impact our region right during our regular dismissal and we want to do everything we can to ensure our buses, students, and staff can travel safely.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership in keeping both our students and staff safe.

What an Incredible Outdoor Day! 🌲☀️(Even though we brought it Indoor) Our library, gym, cafeteria, and classrooms were all buzzing with excitement today at Beaufort Elementary as we hosted our annual Outdoor Day! It was a day filled with discovery, hands-on learning, and some seriously cool encounters with the natural world. We want to extend a massive THANK YOU to the incredible presenters who shared their expertise and passion with our students today: • Rick Hayes / Mammal Trunks: For bringing the wonders of the animal kingdom right to our doorstep. • Mad Science: For sparking curiosity and showing us just how "wild" science can be! • World Bird Sanctuary: For the breathtaking up-close look at our feathered friends. • Reptile Experience: For teaching us the beauty and importance of our cold-blooded neighbors. • Earth’s Classroom: For helping us connect deeply with the environment and the world around us. It Takes a Village! 🐾 This day wouldn't have been possible without the amazing support of our Beaufort families and students. Your generosity and time ensure our Wildcats have these unforgettable learning experiences. We are so proud of our students for their curiosity and school spirit today.
