*Proposition KIDS gains approval* Today is a great day for our district and for our community! Our ballot measure, Proposition KIDS, passed with just shy of 64% of voters voting in favor versus 36% in opposition. Our community has been asking us to prioritize an Early Childhood Center and additional storm shelters. The overwhelming support of our bond issue is the perfect way of showing the community trusts the work we are doing and the positive impact our district is having on the community at large. This is a time to celebrate and a time to acknowledge our community for the continued partnership and vote of confidence. I can’t tell you how thankful and proud I am of our district. We have some of the absolute best working on our team and our parent/guardian partnership couldn’t be stronger; the future is bright for #unionrxi. There is a lot of work to be done now and there will be many conversations in the coming weeks/months as we take next steps in delivering on Proposition KIDS. Easter Grams For Sale!! Hello Beaufort families! Our school will be selling Easter Grams this Thursday, and Friday (April 10th, & 11th). Each Easter gram will be $1 each. They will be passed out at school on Monday, April 14th .

We have extra 24/25 yearbooks for sale? First come, first serve. $18.50 cash or check. We also have a few left over from 20/21, 21/22, 22/23, 23/24. Those are $5 each.

K-8 summer school enrollment is now open! https://tinyurl.com/unionrxisummerschool Students earn $5 per day for each day they attend (max of $100)! The deadline to enroll is May 16 #Uproud

Your student should have brought home a folder to register. (Fill out Your Form and Send it back in!) Summer Journey 2025 starts on Thursday, May 29. There will be NO summer school on Thursday, June 19 Juneteenth) and Friday, June 20. The last day will be on Friday, June 27. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. each day. Summer School will also post Bus. ✏️Paraprofessional Appreciation Day is tomorrow, April 3rd.✏️ A paraprofessional is person who commits their time and effort daily to support the students under their guidance, all while addressing the unique needs of each individual. Here at Beaufort we are fortunate to have these amazing Paraprofessionals; Shannon Eads, Jordan Monehan, Dotty Harker, Emily Birke, Rae Pecka, Julia Swan, Dawn Homer, Ashley Davis, and Emily Kania. We had the best day learning about different careers/hobbies! We learned about: training beagles/rabbit hunting 🐶 played legos 🧱 met a llama 🦙 had a puzzle race 🧩 visited with a flight attendant ✈️ Snuggles with goats 🐐 Heard about Police 👮🏼‍♀️ Officers Race car drivers 🏎️ Veterinarians 🐕🐈 And MORE!! Be sure to ask your student about the day! A HUGE shoutout to Mrs. LaBoube for putting this day together and a BIG THANK YOU to those who came and presented!
