**New substitute teacher and paraprofessional pay rates!**
Last night at our regularly scheduled BoE meeting, there were two agenda items approved that we’d like to bring to your attention. The changes below are not effective until Monday, Nov. 4, 2024.
1). We increased our substitute teacher rate of pay from $115 per day to $135 per day. Retired teachers (from any district) who substitute teach will be paid $150 per day up from $135 per day.

2). We also increased our district paraprofessional hourly rate of pay. Our paraprofessionals fill a variety of roles throughout our district. If you have 60 college credit hours or you’ve passed the paraprofessional exam, please check out our current openings. Congrats to the cross country team. Boys team placed 5th and girls placed 6th is the large Owensville Invite yesterday. So many personal best performances. Seventh grader, Elliot Morgan also beat her PR and brought home a medal! Great job, UMSXC!
