Join our Running Wildcats on Mondays afterschool for a group run. Anyone in 6th-8th grade interested in track or cross country can join the UMS Cross Country team for off-season conditioning. Run with your friends, see what cross country is all about. Bring your running clothes & shoes (dress for the weather).

Tuesday after school, our Heart and Sole group did a fantastic job completing their practice 5K around the track and school! These ladies are training for a 5K in Forest Park on November 16th with the Saint Louis region Girls on the Run program. Way to go, ladies!

Kops and Kids Canned Food Drive begins next week.

**New substitute teacher and paraprofessional pay rates!**
Last night at our regularly scheduled BoE meeting, there were two agenda items approved that we’d like to bring to your attention. The changes below are not effective until Monday, Nov. 4, 2024.
1). We increased our substitute teacher rate of pay from $115 per day to $135 per day. Retired teachers (from any district) who substitute teach will be paid $150 per day up from $135 per day.
