Mrs. Pier teaches an 8th-grade assigned elective called Careers. This is an assigned elective for 8th-graders who are not in band or choir. This class covers the 16 career clusters as determined by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Mrs. Pier makes the class as engaging and authentic as possible for each of her students. She often will offer multiple options for students to choose what and how they want to learn.
