If you are a Junior or a Senior, you make the District Choir, and you rank toward the top of your section, you may receive notification that you are eligible to audition for State Choir.  If you choose to audition, you will do so during the first District Choir rehearsal.  You will have to prepare to sing one of two choir pieces that rotate each year on your voice part.  This performance score will be averaged with your sight-reading score from your District Choir audition to determine if you make the State Choir.  If you make the State Choir, you would be required to attend a specified number of rehearsals as wells as attend and perform at the Missouri Music Educators Convention that takes place in the end of January.  The audition music and practice tracks can be found by clicking HERE.
